Hi every1
As you can probaly gather by the subject i'm fairly new to the Scooby scene. I'm looking to buy Ben's Sti on a L plate (import) but finding it difficult to disguinish stats between the 101 differant models.
From what i can gather the WRX is the lesser powered turbo then its the STI rite?? Do imports have more power than uk models?

In pecking order of power you have the humble UK turbo with 214ish or 240 with PPP (prodrive performance pack) then the WRX JDM imports which range from 240 to 280 depending on the year then the STi which started at 250 with the STi 1 (MY 94)
and went up to 280, a good place to start looking would be www.sidc.co.uk/faq.htm.

Yeah, but then you get the "Newage" or "Blob-eye" WRX`s that are now 221 bhp, and the STi at 261 bhp. Not forgetting of course, the JDM`s, which are now anything from 310 bhp onwards.

Never mind mate, I was the same when I first joined this place a few months back, but just keep tuning into the place, as it does become clearer after a while.
