Default Tesco 99 latest list and technical info too

Thank you for your reply.

We are unable to advise on the content of Shell Optimax, however I can confirm that our 99 octane unleaded petrol has a minimum RON of 99 and a MON of 87. It exceeds the British Standard Specifications for BS7800 - superunleaded fuel, and BSEN228 premium unleaded. It contains a high level of a detergent additive which exceeds the level of performance specified by Major European Motor Manufacturers, to help keep engine fuel systems clean.

Here is an updated list of stores which this sell this fuel together with the dates of forthcoming stores, this list from Head office suggests our Portsmouth and Havant stores should already have begun selling it:

All theses detergents aren't a good thing!
I know of many people that have had there engines knackered due to only using Supermarket petrols with all their detergents!

Supermarket petrol is cheaper for a reason!

I've been running it for a while now and the car feels a bit blunt. Not as punchy as when on Optimax. Probably all in my head, but I'll be changing back next tank.

if you want high octane petrol upnorth, then why not get your dodgy northern scum supermarkets to sell it, like morrissons!

and at the same time you can get them to stay up north, with their dodgy yellow and black colour scheme and their "value" range!
