Default Just booked my tickets for MPH 05

Hi all,

This looks like a proper motor show, dont think they will be launching the new Fiesta at this show.

Anyone else going to this?

what one you going to, birmingham or london? am tempted to go myself to the london one. like you say it seems like a proper motor show so should be a really good day.

Have to agree i think he is too. i'll prob go to the london one if i go as it's only 45 mins on the train for me. although i wondered if the birmingham one would be bigger as it's at the nec?

I used to go to the normal motor show every year when it alternated between the both, i always found the NEC one was better as its MASSIVE with about 8 hangers rather than Early court which was only about 4 i think

Ticket price too high for me I think. £30-45, far too much. Plus a round trip including petrol from Darlington would be about £150-200.

From what I've heard off other sites is the same, ticket prices are just too much considering the last proper motor show was only £10-12.

wannabe - i only ever go to the motor show at the nec for the reason you said far bigger. but this year i think it's at the dockland area which i think is bigger than earls court so might be worth a look.

stilover - for ticket price £45 will get you back stage pass to see cars that other people can't, seat for the hour long show and a few other little bits iirc. you can get in from about £20. if you know anyone who subscribes / buys auto express you can get discounts on tickets. i think you can get the top bracket ticket for about £30 instead of £45

I wouldn't bother with the "back stage pass" if last year was anything to go buy.
All it consisted of was walking in a line of people passed various cars (all of which were on show in the main areas) & they were roped off so you couldn't get near them - very dissapointed so wont bother spending the extra this year.

I got a ticket for free

Our MD won it in a competition run by the investment house Gartmore. They have a corporate box or something and he gave me his ticket. It says its worth £75, why I don't know becuase on the MPH site the most expensive tickets are £45.

I've got a fair way to go to - West Wales to the midlands. All motorways so not too bad. Probably cost a bit in the scoob but as it hasn't ventured more than about 5 miles away from the house in the last 4 months its due a good run.

I went to the dive show at the NEC the other week I've never seen so many Scameras in one place.
