Thumbs up RA VERSION STI

Hi guys im currently looking to find a decent example and im just curious about tuning alternatives on this model..i understand they have a short ratio box so i assume the top end perfomance is limited..what alternatives are there on this model so to increase the top end performance..or am i looking at the wrong model if this is a issue?

Any owners comments would be appreciated

If you can stretch to a version 5/6 (99/00), then you can get an Impreza type RA V-Limited, which has a taller 5th gear.

You could get the 5th gear from the same year uk car and this will increase the top end speed of car.

It was on option on the limited models, they do not come standard with the taller 5th gear.
