STI PPP v M3
I had been fortunate enough to have been loaned my mates M3 for a few hours last week, and must say as nice as the build quality is and how nice the engine sounds, I still thought my 2003 WRX was a better car for me, with equal performace, handling etc. My friends are surprised when I claimed this, but since they have travelled in the WRX agree it is quick, good handling etc.. Therefore I had gone off the idea of M3 ownership, much to my wifes dismay.
I had also considered purchasing the new Lexus IS250 sport when it comes out next year, as I was going to go for a prestegious mark.
BUT,
my own WRX went in for a service last weekend, and whilst I was there I test drove a 2005 STI PPP which was up for sale. **** Me what a car!!!!!
The performance, the sound, the handling, the brakes.... Everything about this car is amazing. Getting back in my WRX, it felt horrible, loads of body roll, poor performace. I WILL BE GETTING THE STI PPP NEXT, nothing is going to change my mind.
Regards,
Roger
