OH MY FU*KIN GOD - THAT'S THE BEST £550+ I HAVE EVER SPENT!!!
Just got back from Powerstation and the 1st thing I have to say is a BIG thankyou to all the guys there, especially Fuzz (Eibachs - more of that later ) and Rich for the ecutek mapping.
I don't have access to a scanner so I will post the results here (before and after).
The performance mods that I had in preparation were (on previously standard bugeye WRX that comes out the factory with 215bhp):
Magnex 6x4 Oval Backbox
Magnex decat centre section
GREEN Cotton Panel Filter
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Performance figures:
Before:
Corrected Power: 222 bhp (which I was chuffed with considering I hadn't modded much)
Torque: 280 Nm
After:
Corrected Power: 258.3 bhp ()
Engine Power: 255.7 bhp
Torque: 347.2 Nm
Wheel Power: 155.2 bhp
Drag Power: 100.5 bhp
Max Power at: 5805 rpm
Max Torque at: 3520 rpm
Max Attained RPM: 6345
Ambient Temp: 19.5C
Intake Air Temp: 21.3C
Compared to the standard WRX she absolutly flies now - I can appreciate STi drivers. The driving experience is totally different and it just pulls and pulls!

The Eibach's are great, a top quality investment. I'd like to experience the 340+ STi if your offering to take me out in it? (not sure it's such a good idea, the way I've been 'investing' in my car lately!! )
Rich,

I wouldn't mind going out for a spin in yours tomorrow (but will it burst my 258bhp bubble???)

Nice one Rich! Glad your happy with the results of the remap.
Plus 35 bhp isn't too bad a gain is it!
Interested to hear more about what you make of the Eibach's once you've had chance to safely explore the cars new limits. Is it noticeably lower in your opinion? Not long till I get mine fitted and really looking forward to it, even more so after reading your review.
My new brake discs and pagid 4.2.1's turned up today.

Plus 36.3bhp!
I was well chuffed with the gain considering I've got standard up and down pipes. The PS guys seemed pretty please with the results too.
I had the Eibach Pro Spring Kit fitted to all four corners, followed by the computerised 4-wheel alignment.
It's made a huge difference to the look and handling of the car. A 25mm drop (once the springs have settled down) and yes, it looks **** hot! The car is solid on the road but not teeth shattering, easy to live with everyday.
As soon as I get hold of a decent digital camera I'll post some pics for you.
