I'd get your motor mapped ASAP - not just from a power point of view, but to make sure the AFR is correct. Sounds like a pricey build - best to protect it.

For 1bar of boost those figures look right.

I take it you still have std ecu and vf24?

car was mapped when uprated parts went on, not by me , by previous owner, ggr did all the work, a phone call has confirmed all the mods etc.

so is a pawer fc the way to go with an sti 8 ic, would prefer top mount.

my type r v4 went up on the rollers last week too man here in ireland, put out 297bhp and 365nm torque, i was def expecting 305bhp+

-lightened flywheel
-full exhaust system
-downpipe and up pipe with headers
-apexi pfc mapped by andy f @1.35 bar on 99/100 ron, thought i def should have seen over 300 bhp

Mine was on the same rolling road, pushed out 282bhp and 305lbs of torque, and considering that the ECU had retarded itself back to a x8 multiplier, was pretty good, now been reset and back up to its x16 (reduces boost basically from what i could understand, goes back to the last lot of safe settings when it sees something wrong).
Still not bad for a standard car

Tony
