give Litchfields a call - the WRX was £18k so would imagine the STi would be circa £22k???

Iain what's the score with IM and warranty on EU cars..? There seems to be some sort of a backlash from IM.

It doesn’t affect us but IM are saying that they need not honour warranties if the car was commercially imported by a company for stock before beginning sold to a customer.
Whether they are correct in this is probably down to interpretation and I know people are working to clear the situation. It’s also difficult to prove one way or the other if nothing goes wrong with the car. To be honest if you were IM you’d probably try the same thing.

However their actions may affect other companies but we import new cars differently for customers so the 3 year factory warranty etc applies The rules for selling cars are quite clearly lead out by the EU, I can email you detail if required. We have a great relationship with our distributors and make sure everything is done by the book

Having gone the Litchfield route (as a happy customer) for a Euro-WRX previously you actually buy direct form the Euro Dealer - in contrast to some of the other "supermarkets" that seem to have had issues recently. A separate fee is payable to Litchfields for all the admin/transport etc. etc.

I would advise you verify the exchange rate any proposed savings are based on and watch the market carefully. For a few months around payment time the Euro/£ rate suddenly becomes important to you
