momo airleather gearknob
well i bought one of these off ebay, but it doesn't fit my 55wrx.
in the box was the ****, allen key 6 grub screws and 3 rubber ****-ends (lol)
is it meant to have 4?
the **** looks used, but none of the rubber bits have been used, so i reckon he's kept the one he used, not thinking that i'd need it.
the diameters of the holes on the 3 rubber ****-ends are 1.0cm, 0.8cm & 1.5cm.
the 1.0cm is the closest fit, but seems a little too narrow, so i can't get the *** to fit over the ****-end. (lol again)
do i just need to push in harder (crap, lol again...) or has the bell-end not sent me all the bits i need?

Should be 4 rubber inserts in a MOMO pack
Sounds like you 1 missing mate
Unless it stuck up inside the gearknob ??

I found a similar problem with a momo recently, also, when fitted, it seems to sit too low on the stick. Then, when you tighten up the grub screws it keeps working loose because they're tightening up on the thread of the gear stick(I didn't want to tighten too hard at the risk of damaging the thread, should I with to change back)
There is a kit for mounting momo gear ***** in the MY05 catalogue I think, that ensures correct fit

I bought a momo air leather gearknob which was off a MGF (Cough !)
Apparently they were std on some MGF's (Even came in a Rover parts box)
Instead of the grub screws it had a thread which was smaller than the Impreza one, so it drilled it out and tapped it to fit. (Inside it was plastic so easy to cut the new thread)
Hardest bit was keeping the drill and tap straight.
Looks great now.
