Couldn't believe it,

About 3:15pm yesterday going eastbound on M4 just after the New Severn crossing. I was going westbound but there it was, a sonic blue New Impreza, travelling slowly and looking a bit 'girly'

I guess a motoring magazine had it for a blast through wales...

Thumbs up

Congratulations, You are the First to see it in UK. What did you think, does it look better in the metal than in pictures?

To be honest, i only caught a glimpse for a couple seconds as i was traveling the other way. The front looked like a rounded off, softened Impreza but it did look nice in the blue.

I didn't go 'WOW' im afraid.

Didn't catch a look at the back, something i was grateful for

Wink

As you didn't catch the back are you positive it wasn't a Chrysler Neon or Toyota Corolla

Cool

As the MY01 gets more numerous on the roads, people are going to get very confused when they think that they keep getting passed by really speedy Corollas and Neons.

I wonder whether this will lead to an increase in buyers of Toyotas and Chryslers who see the MY01 zipping along and want to get one as well.

I've just driven behind the same car.It pulled onto the m40 at banbury so its probably a prodrive car.I sat behind it for a while to see if it turned any heads and it did'nt,asit was only doing 80Iblasted past in my sprinter turbo <the fastest van on the planet>and I caught a glimpse in the mirrors, it looked like a ford granada.

How was Neil the first to see it in the UK?
Wasn't there a driver?

Stef

Maybe Subaru have bought the Knight Rider technology.

It would explain why they couldn't afford to spend too much on design.
