Imports & Air Bags
Do or should Jap import classics have driver airbags? I am looking to buy one but they all seem to have a skinny Nardi wheel that surely would not house an air bag. If they do what year should they be in.

Nardi wheels are standard.

My STi3 has one, not the prettiest wheel though

JDM STI5 (MY99) has the same Momo steering wheel as a P1 or UK MY99 Turbo 200 AWD, with airbag.

my v reg my00 wrx wagon has the momo wheel with airbag,so i guess they came fitted around 99 ish

A drivers side airbag was only available on JDM cars from September 1996 ie, a MY'97.
