Default JDM O5 STI

I am looking for information on a 05 jdm sti ie what to look for when buying

Depends where your buying it from really.
Does it have mega miles (hopefully not), but if your buying one that seems cheap, look for accident damage, especially front end, too much wax can be a givaway here, check that all the panels are lined up properly, the car should also come with Bridgestone RE070's on 235/45/17, if its got anything different on, and its low miles, question it.
Some will be remapped for uk fuel, depending where you get it from, if in doubt run the car as if its still mapped for 100 ron, ie optimax and octane booster, i can say that just running one of these on optimax will have a detrimental effect on the engine

Tony it for sale at a dealers in Scotland it got a different front bumper and 4000miles and £21995 .That what it say on there website it not in the country yet and i think it needs remaped for uk fuel if does .I will get Andy f to do it .Are tyres speed rated and is there a speed restrictor ??? does it need undersealing ??? .I would need to fit cat1 alarm imob and tracker for insurance and it says mint conditon i have sent api a email for information and awd aswell

Look at the MY05 blue jdm sti, it has the alarm etc, uk fuel map, 23495, its going to cost you that to add all the other bits to the one your looking at, plus Iain Litchfield has quite a following here, very highly rated

Tony i have got more information about car so won't need to spend anything when i look at and buy and hopfully own a new jdm scoob
