Anybody own a Type 25?
I am really keen for this to be my next car. Although asking price is affordable (at a push!) could someone fill me in on insurance (cost and availability) and servicing (who / and how much more than standard STI)
Thank you
Thank you

Talk to the man himself (Iain Litchfield) I hear he's pretty helpful
Regarding servicing it's on the web site http://www.litchfieldimports.co.uk/s...aservicing.pdf No worse cost wise than any main dealer except for the 5000 mile oil change requirement plus the added bonus that you get people who know what they're doing servicing your car
I'd love a T25 but I think it's time I bought my first house. Must buy a lottery ticket this weekend

Insurance is not too much of a problem. I am lucky (because I'm old) and this year's renewal is under £700. I am still trying though, and am waiting to hear back from A Plan who beleive they can make it worth my while to change.
As for servicing, as Graz says, it's all set out. However, I believe you can maintain your warranty if you have the servicing done at a VAT registered garage. I am happy to make the 350 mile round trip
Give Iain a ring - I'm sure he knows a few insurance companies that can help, and he's got a few nice looking cars for sale at the moment.

Just renewed my insurance with A-Plan for £730 (I'm 40), the oil change service can be done by a VAT reg garage and the main services by Powerstation I believe.
