Default Which Scoob ?????

Apart from all shouting 'Mine' would like to know which Impreza is regarded as the most 'fun' and 'fondly' regarded. Was watching F**** gear last night and they said the the Favourite Mitso (sorry to blaspheme on your site was the ***6. Which Impreza would take the vote ?? Sorry for such a question, but am finally going to 'sweep up' the Sud and move to one of your 'flat fours' have done VW and Alfa Flat fours extensively already, so love the concept already.

Particular model or year?
For me the 22B will always be the daddy. MY99 was the year to have - just like mine

Welcome to Scoobynet!

I've only driven the two I've owned - a '97 'classic' wagon and my current 01 'bugeye' WRX, but I'm going to guess the consensus will be either be the RB5 special edition with PPP (Prodrive Performance Pack) or a '99 import Type R.

Let's see what the rest think...

Steve

I've got a MY01 with a sprinkling of modifications as you might have guessed by my user name and think it's a cracking car everything considered.

I have to be honest though, the car which first made me want to one day have an Impreza all those years ago was the 22B. I remember reading an article about the car in the motoring press and just though what an awesome completely uncompromised machine.

and before anyone else says it. I know my WRX bug-eye is a world away from a 22B, but it is close enough for me... for now...

I love the flared wheel arches in the 22B but you can't drive it round town! The clutch is vicious!!!!!!

What about a rare version 6 Type R WRC Ltd?
Mine is for sale!

Nick

PS - why do people on here favour the version 5 type R as the best?
