which uk model is best?
past or present, lets forget outright 1/4 mile speed,as a car to drive and look at , lets have a pole as to the best?

My vote's for the Classic 97 model year. Revised bonnet, "killer whale" sports seats, improved torque, all made it an improvement on the previous model.
That's the one that got me hooked anyway...

totally agree has to be by fare the most super sub earth has ever seen super fat car.

After driving the MY06 2.5, I feel no other standard trim Impreza compares to it.
I still love the 22b for its uniqueness, but I have been heavily swayed by this new model. I reckon it looks absolutely awesome in it's wide body form (Cusco - I'm lovin' it!)
