Standard Spec C (not sure if that is the WR or not though) is reported to be 4.3 and a Type 25 is reported to be 4.4.

Shaun.

Well a P1 was tested at 4.9 0-60, so I cant see a standard RA making up that much time to acclerate faster than a Spec C or TYPE25 tbh.

I thought the WR1 did 0-60 in 4.2 secs ?
A newage STI ppp does it in 4.6 (supposedly, but I wouldn't fancy trying to launch it)

You're right ... the WR limited is about 30 kg's heavier. Of course, if the driver of the standard C is a fat b@stard and the driver of the WR limited a svelt 10 stone like me, there won't be that much in it

For what its worth, I've heard 4.2 for the C and 4.25 for the WR1.

Info on Sidc suggests that the sti type r/ra in classic form has 0-62 time of 4.3 seconds.

Different drivers, different tests.

If the driver that acheived 4.25 in a WR1 tested the Spec C or Type 25 than I would but my money on the fact that those times would be better than a WR1.

The fastest thing around the ring that has been tested is the Spec C as far as I know.

Try comparing the in gear times..... that eradicates most driver skill associated with 0-60 times. That is where the Type25 leads against the Spec C from what I have read (and both lead the WR1).

Regards,
Shaun.

I'm with Shaun on this, I think Mike Wood should try out a Spec C and a Type 25 to see what time he can get (using the same technique as he did on the WR1).

I am quite amused to see that no-one on here has argued that the Type 25 is not a standard car - just goes to show how it has become mainstream.

Hey roofer,

I have some origunal brochures here as well.
They don't quote 0-60 though and are all in japanese...
I've two reliable sources, one says 4.3 and other 4.1, I'm going with 4.1
Any pics of your motor?
Ricky.
