scoobys hit the under 3 grand mark.
A guy who i sold my old wrx to is selling it on the civic owners club with a new cambelt and service..for 2995!!!! i had no probs with the car and it drove very very well. hes had it about 4 months and wants a civic again i pressume.
that has to be a total bargain as i let it go for 3350 and that was ultra cheap.just thought i would let the masses know incase anyone is after a really cheap wrx with some mods.

I see traders selling MY95 WRX's from £3800-£4500 and they must be putting around £500-£1000 profit margin on that..!
Just look on the autotrader early scoob prices have plummeted...

I got my Scooby back in June for £4200. It came with new cambelt, clutch, Blitz exhaust, decats, induction kit, STi lights, strut braces and stuff - i thought that was a really good price...maybe it wasnt! LOL!

Seems the market is flooded with uk and import impeza's at the moment. All going cheaper than you think.
Even certificated low milage cars are not fetching the money they ought to.
Dealers seen to put them up for top money and have them sitting there for a while. I bought a 95 wrx import wagon from the auction for £1560 including their bit. I thought that was cheap enough for a bit of fun for a while.
Give it a few months and the prices will rise again once the rubbish has been weeded out.

Ive seen early WRX's go for under 2000 on ebay, which is basically banger money.
They are old cars now I guess, earliest ones being 14years old.
I dont see normal turbos ever really holding their value as theres so many of them. Im sure in the future P1's, 22B's might get more sort-after, but prices will still fall a lot from what they currently fetch.

I recently bought a 95(N) Uk Turbo 2000, it had 18" Konig rims, scoobysport cat back exhaust, fully serviced prior to purchase, new clutch and tyres, spare interior(only sport seats) full leather, 78k from new and full subaru history for 4k... Thats at mates rates but still gotta be worth more

Remember its the time of year as well, nobody buys sports cars coming up to autumn and winter, so dealers are desperate to shift stock they got stuck with in the summer.
Talking to a guy in one of my local garages, he says they sell loads of convertibles ( MGF's MX5's etc... ) in the spring and get top money for them, as soon as summer ends they knock a couple of grand off, if they still dont sell they just get shot of them for as close to what it cost them as possible to keep the cashflow going.
