Although thats what they say, I'm afraid its bollox.

I traded in my MY02 Prodrive Style STI with PPP against a brand spanking new MY05 STI and got 17K trade in - 6 months ago.

Will all due respect, could that not be because you were p/xing a Scooby for another Scooby at a main dealer, who was looking to get rid of cars anyway given the MY06 was coming? I agree that's a top price, but as I'm fairly certain I'll be moving abroad soon, the MY05 WRX SL will have to be sold, and I'm betting that a private sale I'm going to get little more than £15k...

Most people will use the same price guides thus will pay less, whereas a Subaru dealer has different interests...

Price looks about right to be fair - considering the new MY06 is out soon and MY05 Euro Imports are available for £15k brand new with 3 year warranty.

My MY05 wrx with 13k, ppp, 18" oz alloys, prodrive springs and subaru quickshift is up for 15.5k provate sale so I would say that figure is about right..

Glass figures seem very high to me. I've just bought a car (different marque) at 15% below the Glass Retail figure from a main dealer, advertised at 10% below.
