Differences between 03/04/05 Sti & How can you tell?

Differences between 03/04/05 Sti & How can you tell?
Struggling to find the answers on this. As far as I know the 04 STi got dccd & a square boot lock then the 05 car got yaw? wider track/flared rear arch, but when did this actually happen? There seem to be 54 reg cars with either 04 or 05 features so I guess you need to know the month they changed?

I know because i bought an 04 model year just before they anounced the new one - Bu99er!!
