apexi power fc can it solve over boost
would a apexi power fc solve my over boost problem.i'm using a hks evc5 to control it at the moment.can that go once i get the apexi fitted don't really know much about them.Since having a full 3" system hks filter and front mount intercooler i have had a serious issue of over boost with the standard solenoid so i used the hks controller to help this but i'm still running to much boost. would i be able to use the standard one again when the apexi is fitted if not can anyone tell me what i need to buy for my 94 wrx
cheers

If you're getting an Apexi PFC then I can highly recommend you get the AVC-R to go with it Especially on a pre-97 scooby as the limits of the boost pressure are quite low because of the MAP sensor.

Just noticed you only live round the corner from me I'm in Gainsborough LOL
To give you an idea of the results my MY95UK is currently peaking at 1.4bar & holding at around 1.33ish The AVC-R bypassed the standard MAP sensor alllowing this to happen as on the standard one I would have been struggling to make 1.2bar

I have a 94WRX but I have a MAP sesnor from a later car. Does that mean I can use the ECU to control higher boost now. The later MAP sensor only cost me 20 quid or so second hand.
