Evo IV and 1996 STI & STI type R
Hi, just wondered if anyone can help me out. I am seriously considering buying one of the above cars in the next few months to a year and have read what I can on here but am still unsure.
How does the performance in a straight line compare, what about on a track? Also, what are the differences in running costs? I imagine they will be similiar but is the Subaru cheaper to run? I already know insurance is roughly the same.
Which is easiest/cheapest to tune?
Also, I live round the corner from Alyn and his garage in Birtley (Stockcar on these forums I think), would it be worthwhile popping in and having a chat?
Thanks, Tristan

I bought my Type-R STi V5 from Tasos Motors in Larnaca on 00357 99477337 (Maria)
Official Subaru Dealership in Limassol
00357 25575600 (Chris)
Because all the ships transporting second hand cars from Japan to the UK, stop in Cyprus first, we get first shout of all the cars, inc. all the decent Impreza models ie. 22B, Type-R, STi, S201, S202, S203, Type-RA, Spec C, etc.
Sti 8's and Evo 9's go for cypŁ13,000.
You can also get the likes of Skylines for dirt cheap and the new Integra Type-R's for cypŁ8,000.
