Default Is this a scam - message from marketing co on behalf of Subaru?

Got this email today-
Dear Christian

We have been given your name as you have registered an interest in or have bought a Subaru recently. THIS IS NOT A SELLING EXERCISE.

Subaru is very interested to hear about your views on their cars. This is not a test of knowledge but a chance to give your opinions on a subject of which you have experience .

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A SELLING EXERCISE.

Qualifying participants will be given a £50 cash honorarium for participating. The research is relaxed and informal and is completely confidential. We also adhere to the strict guidelines of The Market Research Society, our governing body.

We are particularly interested in people who

currently own a Subaru
used to own a Subaru
or
have registered their interest in buying a Subaru.

If you are one of these people please call Rachel or Kate on XXdeletedXXX, reply to this email or email @@deleted@@@@ for further information.

Many thanks. We look forward to hearing from you.

I wouldn't have thought a scammer would know a honorarium if they trod on it in bare feet, so it is probably genuine !

My advice is don't give too much personal information away (especially your home address), unless they already have it.

Can I have some too. Did a market research session once for a market research organisation which turned out to be FORD though they wouldn't admit, they were trying to come up with a new car (Fiesta) to compete against Peugeot 206GTi and Clio sport. An interesting experience even had to drive my car on a route with one of their engineers in the passenger seat taking notes.
