New Scoob UK record for 1/4 mile
This was a run without the nos, first warm up run of the day to put some heat in the transmission before 'going for it'
Lots of wheelspin off the line on the cold tyres.
Unfortunately I fried the clutch on the next "full bore" launch after I let the tyres down a bit to try and stop the wheelspin off the line.
A 12 hr roundtrip for one competitive run
Still, at 9.82 @ 144mph it's a new UK record for no Nitrous, beating the previous totb with-Nitrous record
Click for condensed version of video.

That run in the video, when I came back to the pit road, bearing in mind the launch/shifts/cold trans, my estimate was 10.5 ish, similar to my elvington warm up run, I was shocked to find it was a 9.8 and well pleased with a 144 terminal. I wouldn't get those numbers so easily at Crail !!
The question is now, where do you stop ?
I thought once I broke into the 9's that would be it, objective achieved and end of story !
In reality it is just the start of the next chapter
Now that I have the misfire sorted properly, the car is a massive step faster again with the nos on
It would be rude not to see what it can do

Two 9-second scoobies, and at least one awsome 10-second scooby... I can't wait.
(also, Jap fest is at Castle Combe!)
