im currently in the process of fitting my mudflaps to my bugeye and hey it aint as easy as it first looked! these are the ones from ebay without the brackets.

Just a question on the small self-tapping screws. Do i have to drill a small hole in the wings cos at first glance it seems quite difficult to screw these in.

any other tips & hints would be appreciated

I have fitted these too. You do need to drill a small pilot hole into the wings. Take your time lining them up - would be easier with someone to help you as I fitted them alone and it was bloody difficult.

You will need to take the wheels off too.

 

I Just got mine through today from ebay also. These are the ones with the brackets, lets see if theese are any easier to fit.

u gonna take the wheels off? iv just got the allots fitted with macguard bolts aswell so i really dont feel like takin em off!

it was a real mission tryin to line the mudflaps. Not as easy as it looks

Dont thinks you can do it with the wheels on mate, not the fronts anyway .

I fitted those to my bugeye, drilled pilot holes, but for the back I made a bracket because there wasn't any body work to screw them to. Had to take the wheels off to. Good luck

 

i think its easier to do the front mudflaps without takin the wheels off. Iv rotated the wheels as far as they go which gives me plenty of leverage/space.
The backs were a bit of a problem but managed to do them in the end
