As above really - i noticed a lot of condensation and dirt in my near side lens yesterday, along with the loss of the main beam. After taking the unit apart the transformer at the bottom of the lens was found sitting in a big pool of water.

I've swapped the bulbs over to eliminate that and both are fine. Is the transformer the only other thing that could be knackered?? Voltage is coming through the cable.

The unit has since been resealed so the problem shouldn't happen again,
does anyone know where i can pick up a cheap transformer or light unit.

I've tried Grade A and had no luck there

Auto lamps on line sell ballast boxes separately, pretty sure the OEM HID's would use the same ballast boxes they use.

Just got a new one for mine as it had also suffered a bit of water ingress. Not cheap though, around £100 for brand new, proper brand kit, delivered inc theft. At that price best make sure they're not sitting in pools of water again.....
