DO THE BLOODY THINGS UP!!!!!

I went out for a passenger ride in my mates Fiesta RS turbo. Yeah I know but it really is a VERY nice car and runs big power (270 @ the wheels on full boost!!!) While accelerating up a nice long hill the bonnet flipped up at 95mph

My mate lifted and braked causing the car to go into a rather mental tank-slapper and I braced for impact, It was only a very good bit of driving that stopped us hitting anything solid.

The bonnet is obviously wrecked as are the slam panel and windscreen, oh and two dents in the roof.

After checking the oil that morning he had forgotton to lock the bonnet pins, an easy mistake but it could have been a LOT worse.

Took the scoob out earlier and it has made me very nervous, no matter how in control I feel mechanical failures can happen, got me thinking a bit too much........................
