Default From Scoob to what?

My StiV is to go after a 3 1/2 year affair - I could have kept a second woman on the go for what it has cost me on fancy trinkets and basic sustenance I reckon, honestly but I am now simply bored with it and want something 'different'.

What next I ask myself .... well it is to be a second car with the issue of practicality of no concern. I have driven a Boxter S (uninspiring), S2000 (bland as hell!), Elise (yeuch!) and Evo FQ340 (no character) amongst others ... and yearned briefly for an M3 but now I have seen the light and found my next companion! Tis a 4 door saloon with a decent boot that hails from that chap called Litchfield my preference being a black one ... and I thought that I wanted a change - pah! Best warn the Missus then .... she'll call it that 'Typo 25 thingy' no doubt

Can I get a 'Scoob' patch to wean me off em from my GP do you reckon?

All I can say is that as good as the other cars might really be there was a noticable lack of FUN (read as manic grin) factor so there!

S2000's aren't bland !! I drove one on test the other week. Loads of back end fun

Not as quick at the Scoob but they don't have a turbo

Its a dilema though. I'm facing the same choice

I test drove a new S2000 & a 3 year old one ... very competent I grant you but the characteristics associated with a turbo have probably spoilt me, I have worked out though that I like either a turbo OR more CCs or both ... ! There's an idea, where can I get a 4lt blown motor for this sort of money ???

Of course, the STiV could just be dynamically so out of date that it 'just seems fast and fun to drive' compared to this lot
