Girlfriend Driving My Car
Just sat down on Saturday afternoon and my phone goes. Its the girlfriend, shes out in my Sub, conversation goes like this, -
gf - theres another subaru up my ***
me - and?
gf - can i race him?
me - hmmmm, where are you, what road you on?
gf - just coming to a stretch of dual carriageway
me - ok, many people about?
gf - no road pretty empty
me - ok but be careful, let me know how you get on.
Not relaxing anymore, palms sweating until phone rings again.
gf - hahahahaha, left him but slowed down for roundabout for him to catch up.
me - and?
gf - he put his window down and said 'Its a turn on a woman driving a car like that'
me - ok
gf - I replied with 'Just a pity you couldnt keep up' and drove off.
Shes got the bug now, had to pry the keys out of her hand when she got home.

I made my girlfriend drive my Evo VIII MR FQ320 as the first car after she had written off her Golf by flipping upside down on black ice...she'd never driven anything over a 1.3 before
needless to say she was bricking it....not half as much as me though

She is well warned, trust me. She actually said to me that if she did do something to it, she wouldnt bother coming home. She would send her mother to get her passport

My g/f always drives home from the pub..
I thought that was just normal, I would never let her drive it on her own though, i let her take two of her mates out in it once, they came back white. Due to the amount of near misses she had due to showing off.

wifey enjoys a "spirited" run (in the car I hasten to add!), but at the end of the day, it's just a car. If the Scoob's not there when I need to go out, I use our Mondeo (although, I'd prefer to drive the Scoob of course!)

Would of loved to see the post if she had been beaten or worse damaged the car. I would of hated it if anything had happened to her but would of been an interesting post.

@subtyper - That post wouldnt have been pretty!!
@What If - oh she definately had warmed it up, she has been well warned about this, and anyway, she had just covered about 140 miles!!
Abyway, it upset me that much that ive decided to sell the car, only kidding about the upset bit, but the car is in the autotrader as we speak. Decided to move one from my beloved subaru. Ill explain more tomorrow!!
