Default Second-hand STI backboxes?

Anyone know where I can get hold of a second-hand STI backbox..breakers or similar? I'm not looking for a pucker chrome finish or anything, second-hand original one will do/.

You occasionally get them offered on here. eBay is another option as is a breakers.

I paid £70 for a brand new one years ago. They should be cheap as chips nowadays.

Scooby-Sport,

What model is it for? I'm buying a new 05 STi this week and the dealer is fitting the PPP so I could be able to get my STi BB of him? If it'll fit of course....

Its a 93 WRX but with (i think) an sti exhaust system on it, the bore is about 4-5" i reckon and on the backbox itself its got fujitsubo giken and STI-S10 marked on it

the original STI's were 2.5" with a 3.5" tailpipe.

You can fit a newage to a classic, but you'll need to get the exhaust hangers modified.

Any classic STI would do. Even a std P1 exhaust is the same.

Mine looks nothing like that, the flange connecting the middle section is just a few inches behind the box itself, see the image
