Speeding Insurance Policy
A new policy has been started called Guardian Angel. It is open to ppl who have 6 points or less from fixed penalty speeding tickets.
Annual cost of the policy is £108, and you get the following:
24/7 advice line for fighting speeding offences
£10,000 legal expense cover with specialist road traffic lawyers
£6,000 towards other transport in case of a ban
www.guardianangellp.co.uk
Quote ref :ev (from EVO mag for the above)

No idea yet. I am thinking that they are just a new startup. Hopefully they will sort things out in the next few weeks. But it is nice to know that there is at least one option that is out there!

Hhhmmmm - so for £108, you get 6 grands worth of cash towards train fares etc. One heck of an insurance payout for what would amount to only 2 Gatso flashed is you are on 6 points at the moment. Slightly dubious mathematics...
And if they are getting paid by the exclamation mark on one of their pages, they'll be raking it in. There's loads of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I think I want to hear a lot more about them before they get any of my money. I think they could be worth following though. It may be an interesting business model, although the costs do seem to be small for the benefits of the legal defence team.
Maybe they are being funded by F1 drivers?

To sell or advise on insurance you have to be GISC registered plus from the 14 january 05 FSA approved.
Cant see any mention on the website
Thers already a policy that does this called a St.Christopher policy its been going for years however the premiums are higher and from memory they would'nt accept a person with 6 points the risk of a claim would be too high
All sounds a bit dodgy imo
