Default Terzo Vs Sti (Jap import) - Which to have?

I am looking to buy a scoob in about 2 months time...

I was pretty much set on getting a Version 1,2 or 3 STi import, but i have just seen the terzo's.

How do they fair in comparison to the imports?

I keep getting the "uk scoobs are slow" response from most people, and i was looking for some more valuable advise on here...

Thanks in advance...

Go for the Sti, I had a Terzo and had nothing but trouble. Turning the clock back I would rather have had the quicker Sti anyday.

You couldn't even give me a used Jap import,I wouldn't touch one with an enormous great long sh!tty stick

just my personal opinion

The Terzo is basically a uk my98 turbo with some extras, none of which help the performance. But you get the reassurance that it is a UK car. Get one with FSSH that has been looked after and it should be reliable and you will stand out from the crowd.
As for the classic sti's - they can be an unknown quantity. Do a search for big end failure.
