Ere people, Just read teletext down here in Wiltshire ( Chippenham) and apparently Castle Coombe has to reduce its noise levels from 114 to 108 decibels by April 2006. According to reports, 2 events may have to be cancelled because of this, the National Premier three ???, and british GT ??? . so what.....

Thats a real shame if they lose the F3 and British GT races.. They are the best races at Combe and its only one weekend out of the year.... As far as I am aware all the track days that happen the rest of the year are limited to under 100 dB - so whats 2 days out of the year !! Outrageous - the track has been there since the 1950s... so noise shouldnt be an issue
