Question Service costs?

Hi,
Anybody know what the service costs are going to be for the 10,000 mile service on my 2004 STi, assuming that it's straight forward? Can you negotiate the costs?
Cheers, Toby
P.S. I have to take it to a Subaru dealer as want to keep my warranty!

As i remember mine was about £170...not too bad. If you want to save a few quid you could supply your own oil i guess

You don't need to service your car at a main dealer to keep it's warranty. This is bullsh*t the main dealers put out to make you go to them. You can take it to any MOT registered garage, and as long as they service it to the main dealers service proceedure, and use genuine manufacturer parts, your warranty IS valid. My mate has his own garage, and does mine each time, and I've never had any bother with dealers saying my warranty is invalid. He uses genuine parts, and cos he does'nt charge main dealer labour rates I get it serviced at a far better price.

About £90 quid all in from specialists

Warranty is not affected if VAT registered & using genuine Subaru parts....
