Default gearbox how hard can it be ?????

i have just bought my scooby classic 1995 wrx and have found the gearbox oil level to be low. So i decided to give it a change but can't find the filler plug, found the drain plug no problem!!! just glad i did'nt drain first. So does anyone know where it is and what oil to use ?????

Thanks Graham

It goes in the dipstick hole. Just use abit of hose and a funnel, or the tubing that usually comes with a new container of oil.

easy enough i did it when i first had the car. try your local hardware store and get some 15mm plastic tubing. Works fine, just cut it to what you want and away you go.

hardest thing is trying to see the hole if you dont have a light when you are leaning over it. (no rude comments please)

My dipstick has 2 points at which it 'feels' like its fully inserted - be careful to ENSURE its fully home!!

£5 a litre ..

I didn't and ended overfilling the bloody thing!
