Default Big end survey..?

With all the recent posts regarding scoob big end failures I'm interested in how this effects classic v newage cars..?

So basically have any newage owners had big end failures..? If so details please...

Cheers,
Jason

You might want to exclude imports and modified cars mate, otherwise it's gonna be classics by a country mile owning to the fact that if you wanted an STi prior to the the Bugeye model, you had to get an import. And classics will have had their mods on longer than new ages. In both instances inceasing the liklihood of a big end failure...that's to say nothing of the fact that being older cars, with higher milages, more owners etc... you're going to get more instances of failures on them anyway.

A fairer comparison would be un-modded UK classics vs unmodded New age WRXs and I suppose you could count the new age STi too as its an offical UK car set up for our petrol etc...

Just a suggestion!

Well all I'm interested to see is if this 'problem' has effected' many/any newage cars regardless of age/milage/mods/import etc...

So has anyone with a newage car suffered this failure..?
