I'd be very tempted to try T cut (oh God I'm gonna get flamed for that ). But I'd only use that as a last resort...depends how nice/new the BM is...

Looks like the crap has eaten through the lacquer , if so I don't think polish etc is going to bring it back , might be a job for a chips away type outfit

why are you sorting your angry dads car out?
did you dress up as a bird and shat on his car or sumthing?

i think you may be right Graz , i've left bird poo on my wifes 306 for days and when i came to washing it off no worry's no marks nothing, so i guess it's down to what bird crap's on your car

Zymol HD clense and a lot of elbow grease has always done the job for me, had to do it last week when I left a crap on there for a day, make sure you apply wax after using the HD because it removes all wax already applied. Applying numerous coats of decent wax will slow down the process of it eating into your paint. The only other thing you can do is leave the car dirty because they only seem to crap on shiny cars!

Had the same problem earlier this week.
I washed the car to get the crap off and once I dried it I could see the 2 marks it had left.
I tried a couple of different polishes on it, but in the end I used Black T-Cut (as my car is black )
That seemed to work
Just use a small amount and rub it in slowely in small circles.
As soon as you have covered the area thats gone funny, wipe it off.
If you can still see it, then do it again.
I only needed to do it twice, and rub it in quite hard (just be careful not to go too mad when doing it).
Worked for me

I think the birds round your way eat brake fluid or something I've had s**t on my car for a day or two and it always washes of no problem!
PS Q, What do you do if a bird ****s on your head
A, Sack her off and find a nicer one
