Red face Armorfend.....How much??

Having just had an 05 STi bonnet re-sprayed due to a couple of mondo stone chips complete with dents

I thought I'd protect the new paint with some Armorfend type clear vinyl.

A look at their website shows a Kit for the Impreza bonnet and mirrors at 'only'150 Dollars

http://www.xpel.com/products/configu...583&series=475

However a call to my nearest supplier/fitter and i'm told its £175 +vat

and for the full kit they want a whopping £450 +

Is this stuff really worth that kind of money?or am just getting tight in my old age

Jon

Just get some sticky backed plastic, same stuff

I personally dont like the look of it and would rather get a few stone chips, cars are really for driving not looking at so a few battle scars is fine.

Cool

I've got this stuff on my bonnet and front bumper.

Car is 5 years old and not a single stone chip / dent.

If I had steel bits on the front of mine I'd worry about it as I hate rusty brown spots. Bumper, splitter etc. are plastic and the bonnet's aluminium

<shrugs>

I've got headlight protectors though and considering the mesh type foglight grilles.
