Add to list above...

MAF sensor.
hole in headers, uppipe or exhaust.

What condition is the car in otherwise? Does it startup fine, idle fine and run well?

Post the figures/printout (HC, O2, AFR, CO) and I can tell you what is happening.

Emissions fail can mean anything from an exhaust leak, rich, lean, missfire, loss of compression, burning oil etc etc.

I or anybody else cannot be any more specific to the fault without knowing this.

LMAO

Well I find it funny that we've already have had "it's your MAF" and the Oxygen sensor blamed without even knowing any of the figures measured, for example, it "could" be a cracked up-pipe (another common problem)...or a hole in no.3 piston

What went wrong on your scooby doesn't nessecerily mean it's the same fault on everybody elses

oh dear

the guy asked what it could be

i also asked him what it failed on

obviously figures from the fail report would give us a better idea

i had a nova rally car fail early in the year, co2 should have been 0.03 or less it was pumping out 24.7

after an hour (my m8 who was running the test) tracked it down to an 80pence temp sensor and a faulty maf.

so there LOL
