Subaru Specialists??
Does anyone know of any scooby specialists in the peterborugh, cambs area?? I have a tuned 2001 wrx impreza and I cant stand the local subaru garage there a bunch of tossers!! Just wondered if anyone know of a good company round near here??

Nearest place to peterborough is TSL but there are a couple of car performance places, one in Werrington down papyrus Rd and theres one which i think is in Chateris called fen motorsport if thats any help.
Whats the local garage done to upset you, as i have had a run with them once or twice. PM me if you prefer.

The service side of the dealership is CRAP!!! I have had more than a few run ins with them BUT if you speak to the guys in the sales section Richard/Carl they usually kick A$$ and do everything to help you and get things sorted.
My mate waited 3 1/2 months for a replacement wiring loom to be fitted to his 03 STI
Won't bore you with the epic story but the service department acted in a pretty incompetent manner. It took them 4 days to change 5th gear syncro on my 04 WRX, god knows what they were doing as I was told it was a 4 hours job.
I refused to pay their servicing costs on my TDI Mazda 6 and hey presto they knocked £70 instantly. They charged me nearly £5 for 1/2 ltr bottle of screenwash and gave me a half empty bottle of Purple screen wash. When I checked the reservoir (as I'd topped it up the day before) the screenwash inside was still the bright flo green (from the type I use) and had'nt been topped up at all. I challenged the service manager as to wher exactly they had put 1/2 a bottle of purple screen wash as it certainly was'nt in the washer reservoir ............ bright red faces all round but they would'nt refund the 'supposed' cost.
My list of woes goes on, and the in-laws dealings with P'boro dealership is even more farcical.
They were very close to loosing the franchise a year or two back ........... cannot imagine why.
I'd definately buy from there, but would think twice about trusting their service department.

The reason i wont use donalds is because on my classic impreza i took it in for a service and they said it needed new discs and pads and they said it would be £800 for the parts plus labour,so as it was my first scoob i agreed, they said they would get the parts n order. That was 3 years ago and i still have never heard anything from them!!! Plus there outrageous costs!!! On the other point fensport dont do servicing i believe i think they only sell parts etc. And the company in werrington do you mean harvey gibbs??

the only other dealer is chandlers @ grantham have you tried them?
I agree with what you say service side @ peterboro is far from what i would call up to scratch.
Getting off the subject any of you Peterboro locals going to JAE and would like to join other local scooby owners, we have our own display area and still have spaces left,email or pm me if interested.
