I've had a look at some of the dyno graphs in the dynomite scoobies section of this site.....Ive noticed that the UNMODIFIED uk turbo 97 uk spec scoobies are pushing at least 230 bhp, now I couldnt have been looking at wrx's! I say this because I always thought '97 Imprezas had about 208 bhp as standard...didnt they?

I running a unmodified uk turbo , non wrx , and today I got 247 on the RR . I'm well chuffed . The only thing its had dun is the rear box , not sure whose it is , but its only a 3" pipe.

Looks mint love the bonnet!! i thought that they were about 215-220 bhp standard.....anyone know what the standard bhp is??? Im really confused!! Are the figures for standard uk turbos atw or fly? ie 208 bhp for MY97 at the wheels or fly??!!

Mine was 207.4 @ wheels

I'm interested to know this too! I've checked in C Rees' Impreza book but can't find an indication of where the power is measured. With the mass of acumulated knowledge on here someone must know.

Yeh, that's what I've always assumed as its the higher figure. So regarding the above UK MY97's, either the rolling roads are 'out' or there is some creative computing going on somewhere along the line.
