WRX300 seat position...
Just got my new WRX300 and must say that I find the seats really uncomfortable. I have read many threads regarding the angle of dangle, but I think quite literally it is because the seat does not go back far enough.
I had an MY98 and a P1 and as far as I remember I did not have any issues with these. The WRX has standard seats with the airbag i.e. no hump. Has the seating position changed with the new age? And NO before anyone asks, I didnt test drive it after having two scoobs I didnt really think it necessary!
What options do I have? I dont really fancy changing the seats out as these are SWRT ones. Can they be adjusted in anyway?
Cheers,
Mark

I'm 6ft 6" and never had too much trouble fitting into a bugeye WRX and then STi, plus over 800 miles a week.

Yep, no problem will get some photos up soon! I must be loosing the plot as I have just measured up....
Lower back of seat to brake face / front of seat to brake face
206 42"/21"
307 42"/21"
WRX300 42"/22" (This confirms the other threads that WRX seats are shorter than both STI seats and it would appear normal car seats!)
So I have exactly the same distance from my back to the pedal, but I feel like I'm humping the steering wheel. At least the Peugeots have adjustable steering wheels (in and out as well as up and down!).
The WRX300 definately as lard *** seats i.e. no hump.....

For me it was not much more expensive than getting a SWRT import, but the WRX300 had PPP and cheap insurance (£360 anyone....!!!!!)
