Garaged Or Not
Guy's,
For the last 2 or so years I've been the proud owner of my MY02 WRX and touch wood to date nothing has happened to it
Now I live in a reasonably good area but don't have the pleasure of owning a house that comes with a garage so it basically sits outside
Recently I've been thinking about upgrading to an STi but find myself wondering whether doing this would attract more attention from, shall we say, the kind of people that one doesn't need
Any thoughts experiences would be appreciated
Cheers
Andy

You can't deprive yourselves of things in life cause some scum may want to take it from you.
Incidents such as those highlighted in the above thread are horrible, but it only happens to a handful of owners and there is no evidence to indicate that it wouldn't have happened if they owned a similarly nice car from another Marque. No one posts to say that their scooby wasn't nicked!

It's more likely to be scratched/dented at the supermarket car park, if that's what you meant.
As for the other thread, if the theiving scum want it, it won't matter if it's garaged or not. They would have done the same, just drove it out of the garage.

Basically its luck of the draw mate, garage or no garage they WILL get it IF they want it.
Lived in Brum all my life(until recent)I've had all Scoobs on the drive,Classic,P1,STi 8 never any hassle.
The only grief i ever had was when i owned an Evo VI, got rid, back to Scoobs !!
Enjoy the car do what you can security wise and i'm sure the car and yourself WILL BE FINE.
Where in the Brum are you ??
