Covers for 04 WRX foglights!
Unfortunately the local coucil has decided to resurface all the estate roads near me. Within 2 weeks of this happening both spotlights have been smashed. Subaru are quoting £90 each inc VAT.
Are there any covers for these to stop the same happening again. I had some on my classic but the local Subaru dealer tell me they don't sell them for the new shape!
Help.

Yes there is. the covers off an 04 sti. but you will not be able to use your fog lights whilst you have them on as the are not transparent. they come ready painted and are available from your dealer for £60ish a pair.

What are Subaru like? There's 2 types....
1) The covers that replace the shroud around the existing fog light... or to be exact the STi fog light covers. £65ish ready painted in STi colours only, from any Subaru dealer. Will fit all WRX 03-04-05 models. Part No. 57731FE300TG (The TG indicates Silver)
Here's mine...
2) Plastic covers that fit over the fog light itself. Yet again a Subaru part.... "Foglamp Cover - Impreza 03MY -use with H4510FE001 Fog lamps +Fog lamp trim - Part No. SACC1246 £ 19.95 (inc. VAT, exc. Fitting - unless otherwise stated above)"

I've got the WR blue ones on my WRX. The odd occasion it is foggy you can use your lights, otherwise the covers stay on. Must make it a bit more aero dynamic as well as saving those not so cheap foglights.
