In gear performance
A few people have been mentioning in-gear performance lately so I thought I'd break out my trusty AP22 performance meter to grab some results. I believe in being in the right gear for the road speed so no daft 30-50 in 5th .
30-50 in 2nd = 1.88 secs
50-70 in 3rd = 2.53 secs
I don't mind trying out other speeds on request!
UK MY95 with the following mods:
Apexi Power FC and Boost control kit
Revolution 3" decat dp and system
K&N panel filter
MRT Inlet Plenum pipe
Resonator box removed and replaced with cold air feed, MAF de-grilled
Walbro Pump and FSE reg
Uprated clutch and Fidanza 4.2KG flywheel
PFR7B spark plugs
AVO Turbo TMIC
Boost @ 1.25bar dropping to 1.2bar further up the rev range

30 - 70 thru gears = 5.05 secs
Best 0-100 = 11.9 secs
Starting from zero means a lot depends on a good launch. The through the gear timings were set to start at 20mph on the AP22 eliminating the need for a perfect start (and saving my clutch! )
