Yup and the rear fog is a part of the prep for the ESVA, are you sure that its not just the bulb that has gone? sometimes instead of adding a small square foglight on the rear bumper, they intergrate it into the light cluster (as with my MY03 JDM STi).
Also depending where u are in the north, pop to somewhere like Prosport who can fit one if its not already done.

It didnt pass an ESVA like that Tony; they fitted a seperate light and then modified the JDM cluster afterwards. Its not uncommon for people to remove the cheap nasty aftermarket fog lamps after their initial SVA or MOT; refitting them when an MOT is next due.

I know what you meant; my point is that it will not pass an ESVA like that. If you want to convert a reversing light, or a second rear rear on a car like a Soarer you have to do this after passing your inspection with a correctly switched, wired, fitted, located and E-marked fog light. When your car is MOTd the tester just looks for a bright red light.....
