I quite like that, if you are into the "in your face styling". Would be nice to have a more conservative option though. Not everyone likes to drive around looking like that.

I think this is probably a true picture as it is very similar to the Tribeca and it follows that family should be closely related. I quite like it, especially with a 2.5litre engine

Rumour is that the back lash to the Alfa Romeoing of the front end has forced a rethink....i hope it comes out, keeps my facelift MY03 price buoyed!!

Are we talking about 'facelift' Imprezas? I'm sure we'll see the facelift well before late '06.

I have seen pics of this "alfa" style in a magazine, can't remember which. I think their chief designer used to work for Alfa Romeo. It looks vile and I can't believe they would repeat mistake of bug eye. Maybe its just a cover for a much cooler model. Crap new version would be good for me too as an '03 owner.

the first image has been modified by lead technologies software!! is that done by the poster or not? but strikes me odd as why someone would want to use a software to resize and crop, i think its not real until subaru have official pictures.

spoke to a dealer and they said it is all speculation and photoshop'ed pics (not sure about this pic though, they mentioned the uk mag a month or so back).
just a mish mach of existing subaru range. bloke said they were just guessing, they have seen nothing yet and will hold off remarking until subaru release proper details.

imho its just too ugly, they must have some grip on reality.

i am sure anyone on here could come up with a nice looking front end..... slightly updated classic would get my vote(they have tried but failed up to now). back to square headlights, square reg plate (well mine did), vents in bonnet but not too pinched and nicer rear end than classic.

make it look like its going to bite you, or at least snarl a bit and look angry in the rear view.

pete,

my 54 (but love the classic shape)
