05 STi PPP exhaust query
what does peoples PPP exhaust look like?
how many silencer type boxes does yours have?
if someone could look under their car and tell me, that would be great!

was wondering how many silencer boxes are left under the car when replaced?
at least, thats what they look like - presumably one or other are cats.
IIRC, the downpipe cat is removed, and one of the main cats is replaced with a sports cat?
just that my 05 STi PPP sounds a bit different to my old 03 STi PPP. has anything changed?

You have the PPP downpipe,then the PPP cat replacement pipe(short pipe),next I have fitted a H+s Non res centre section with a TSL group N silencer.
Sometimes the dealer re-fits the original heatshield over the short de-cat pipe which makes it look as tho the cat is still there!!
But,nonetheless my 05 deffo feels a lot quieter from the inside,altho everytime I visit friends they always say they hear me coming
