Default removing rubbing strips

Has anybody tried to remove the black plastic side rubbing strips on a classic scoob? Are they just glued on or are there some kind of clips involved.Just wondering if its feasible to do without leaving any nasty marks.

They are adhesive strips, id keep them on though as otherwise your doors will look like a battle ground after parking up anywhere as they do actually do their job well if they have been put on correctly my MY00 scoob looked great with them on, it didnt bother me one bit and saved me 50 quid a shot for dent removal

More of a pain if you needed to replace your decals due to denting though

Tony
