PMSL!

Bloody ridiculous scoop isn't it. Shouldn't let too many 'Friends of the Earth' types see that photo or they'll be calling for the banning of WRX/STI's on the grounds of them being a danger to the natural wildlife.

Had a similar experience with a Pheasant and door mirror and side window - could never get the gung of the window! - Worst one was a sparrow that went into the 4 into 1 part of my motorbike - well fried!!

The local cats like to curl up virtually inside the warm scoop but never managed to drive of quick enough whilst they are still in place or give em an intercooler squirt!!

haven't found anything in the scoop yet (after 18 months or so) but bought a LARGE water pistol to keep cats off the car and from sh1tting on the lawn (trying the humane approach first )

I have heard that doing 35 MPH as a pose to doing 30MPH, makes you three times more likely to kill a bird with your air scoop.

So come on guys.... Floor it.

Ohhh... gross... rather you than me mate!

I guess as a scooby owner you're unlukcy if one such incident occurs, so you can probably enjoy scoop death kill incident free motoring for the rest of your scooby ownership!

Still, if it'd have got past the scoop it'd have been ok - those wipers are 'pedestrian friendly' you know?!
