ATTEMPTED HI-JACKING IN COVENTRY
LOOK OUT FOR A DARK GREEN OR BLACK MAZDA XEDOS 6 WITH BLACKED OUT WINDOWS. TRIED PULLING ME OVA ON THE HOLLYHEAD ROAD AT ABOUT 8PM ON SUNDAY. IT CAME FLYING UP BEHIND ME FLASHING ITS LIGHTS AND INSTRUCTING ME TO PULL OVER. AS IT TRIED TO COME UP THE SIDE OF ME COMING INTO THE ROUNDABOUT I DROPPED IT AND MANAGED TO LOSE THEM THROUGH TRAFFIC. KEEP YOUR EYES PEELED IF IN THE AREA!

Sounds like a close call. Glad you managed to get away
Did you report it and did the plods say the car was known to them?
Had a similar incident in cov about a year and a half ago but it got a bit further with firearms etc.
Will keep an eye out. Thanks for the heads up.

It seems the shock affected your caps lock
Well done though, getting away. Though I am guessing that i'd have assumed it was someone trying to race me, and would have enjoyed kicking their asses - Same result

I'm all for the flame throwing attachment you could get fitted in South Africa (I'm not joking).
I remember seeing them fitted to a BMW - if the driver was being hijacked, he could kick a little switch with his foot and flames would shoot out of the sides of the car. Injuries caused ranged from blindness to death - either way it would stop them doing it again.
I think I remember reading that they were thinking of adapting the system for other countries, where it would release sleeping gas... dunno if anything came of it...

I payed close on £600 for my clifford alarm system which came with blackjax. Give specialist security a call on 01243 582322. The lads their know their stuff and they'll come out to work or home to fit it
